Guesthouse Bungalow

The owners of a large estate acquired an adjacent property to create a place for guests and meetings. The existing residence had the basic rooms that were needed which made demolition unnecessary, but the home lacked character. AOME made clever alterations to make the main spaces more open, brighter, and inviting.

The resultant design transformed a cottage into a bungalow in character with the main estate home we had designed for the family some years before. With significant modifications to the landscape, the two properties were tied together as if they had always been one.
