In this edition of AOME Architects recent work volumes, the story of how a remarkable antique panel, finished on one side only, was transformed into a stunning front entry door to a contemporary home. Along the way we gain insights into the history and provenance of the special artifact and the design and fabrication and construction process by the architect and a horde of specialized craftsman and builders.
